To determine the reason for Germany successful in its military, it is obvious that Hitler s strategies on Nazi s army, within the country, and foreign policies are the key role for the militarily successful. In German, far before World War II started, Hitler have planned and prepared for the war. Hitler tried to build up a strong economy by applying economic policies such as investing capital in the economy to prepare for the war. On the other hand, Hitler knows that he need to build up good relationship with foreign countries as well as to develop a strong society for the country. He decided to maintain good relationships with countries that were militarily strong enough to threaten his plan of conquering the whole Europe. Along with Hitler s awesome militarily leadership skill and the developed healthy economy, Germany have built her advantage position in the World War II. Thus, I think the successful of German s military could not have come about without the successful dictatorship of Hitler. And my main theme of this assignment will be focus on the economy policy, foreign policy, and the political and military leadership that Hitler has possessed.
One of the significant factors that lead to the successful is the Hitler s planned strategy on economy. Timing is an influencing factor that helped to lead to the militarily successful in the World War II. At the time when Hitler rises to power, the worst of depression is over. The unemployment rate is getting lower and the production on the economy and the world trade are getting into shape. Hitler assigned Hjalmar Schacht, President of the Reocheshank and the man who had cured the inflation on change of the economy. They employed thousands of unemployed people on public works. Especially putting lots of people on building new houses, military barracks and particularly building roads which capable for letting his troops travel across Germany. The motorways called Autobahren which is hundred of kilometers in length. Hitler s four-year plan is processing secretly and efficiency under the way.
In addition, one part of Hitler s four-year plan is to increase the population of Germany. Hitler believed that man powers in war can most determine the successful of a country. He thus putting out lots of beneficial polices which encourage German people to give birth. In June 1933 Hitler offered that with the birth of each child part of the loan of the family can be neglected. This act indeed increases the population in Germany from 65 million on 1930 to 68 million in 1939.
Furthermore, Hitler ensure that his people s ability in war by requesting all young men and women in the country to do labour services. All men and women within the range of aged 17-25 to do six-month labour services. One major example is that German lawyers had to spend time in a labour camp before they qualified. Not only increasing population to make a powerful army, Hitler also investing in making a modern air force and a larger navy. Unemployment in Germany had fallen from the 6 million in 1932 to short o 500,000 workers in 1939. This meant that millions of Germans have been employed in the armed force or the armament industry.
