D.A.R.E.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to be apart of the D.A.R.E. program. Some schools aren t as lucky to have this program, which helps you to say no to drugs and stay violence free. It educates kids like myself about dangers that are in the world all around us! Also, having an understanding instructor who knows about problems we face in our school and at home. There are no words to describe how much the D.A.R.E. program has helped others and me. It prepares you for challenges you ll face in life, such as peer pressure on drugs or alcohol.


I ve learned so many things that can help me in day-to-day basis of my teenage and adult years. The D.A.R.E. program taught me about the dangers of drugs. And how to avoid certain dangerous situations. Also how many people actually die from cigarettes each year because companies lie to get their business, even though they know it kills many Americans each year. And not to fall for tricks like bandwagon and other approaches companies use so people buy their products.

















 









It s important to be drug free and to avoid violence. In the world today, violence is everywhere news, media and newspapers. Why add to it all. When you can teach your children and others that drugs, liquor and violence isn t so cool when all is said and done. So as I conclude I am extremely happy and appreciate the D.A.R.E. program because it has helped me so much to understand things such as drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse. Overall, in the end it just makes you be a better person!
