Glamorama
Bret Easton Eliss
In the book "Glamorama" you read about model/actor Victor Ward. In the begining of the book victor is opeaning a club for a guy named Daimein and gets caught up in an affair with Daimein's girlfriend. When his d.j. for the club is murdered he looks for a new one but instead he meets a rich man named F. Fred Palakon. Palakon gives victor a bunch of money to find his old girlfriend, Jamie. After the meeting takes place Victor starts getting followed by these two guys in a Jeep. When he ducks into a building he finds Daimein and his goons there and they beat him up, this is when you find out that they are filming a movie and most of this is not really happening. When Victor leaves on a cruise ship to go find Jamie he meets a woman that is an international terroristsand tries to seduce him. One night they have dinner together and when that is over they go back to their cabins and she calls and says that she needs to meet her. When they meet Victor does not think it is her but stays anyway. When they leave their meeting place they go back to her cabin and she gives him oral sex and he falls asleep. When he wakes up back in his own room he is confused and goes to look for her when he gets to her room it is a mess and the bathroom has blood all over the walls and teeth on the floor. When the ship gets to England he ends up on the set of a movie that Jaimie is in and when he find her they go to his hotel room and the back to her house where they have sex. He finds out that they are also international terrorists. Later they all go to Paris and blow stuff up. In the end Victor returns home and talks about what he wants to do with his life.
