People use one major excuse for their refusal of embracing Christianity in the Church:hypocrisy. This something that has been present in the Church since "Day One." People use many of the misdeeds done in the of Christ as evidence, such as Crusades, the Inquistion, witch trails, and many other horrible acts. Due to this behavior, a majority of them tend to say, "If that's what Christianity is all, then I don't want any part of it."
First, it must be admitted that there is hypocrisy in the Church today. For example, there are many leaders and ministers that have been caught in adulterous behavior, acoholism, sexual immorality, or something else that the Church preaches against. The followers must learn that the word "hypocrisy" is of the flesh and is impure; thus, it cannot be connected to God in any way, shape or form.It leads them to believe that the Church itself is a contradiction to what God wants from them. Therefore, the people tend to migrate to different place and sense of worship.
The migration is a result of the Christian Church's failure to deliver the promises of prayers and miracles made by Jesus Christ. In addition, the church that does give answers, doesn't answer them truthfully. They would only answer half of the question and leave the other half up to followers. They were not told " the sacred truths of religion." Another reason for this is because there are too many churches. They have grown from the simple Catholic Church to over 500 major Christian sects and thousands of minor sects.
In essence,"in speaking the truth, uncovering lies, deceit and hyprocrisy give{s} us the coverage to name evil. If one is able to recognize the bad things in church, they will be able to differentiate them from the good things. We will open our eyes towards God and not shut them as we turn away from him. People will see that the hyprocrisy in the Church is not from the Word of Christ(Bible), but from the words of people who speak God's words wrongfully.
