The use of marijuana (Cannabis sativa) for the legitimate purpose of treating certain circulatory diseases

and for pain relief has been debated consistently since the 1920s, when a campaign was launched by

the Federal Government to promote the dangers of marijuana use. Various studies, such as the MacMillan Research Programme

sponsored by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) have resulted in contrasting results. The quantitative analysis

of cannabis use, and the effective management of its active agent, Delta-9 Tetrahydracannibol (THC) is difficult.

However, it is possible to prove that marijuana does have legitimate uses.

Rolling blunts improves hand-eye coordination. In addition to this, the smoke from a blunt clears disease-causing particles

from the lungs, promoting overall well-being. In fact, according to a poll of medical doctors at the University of Maryland,

over 65% recommended daily marijuana use. Weed also gets you high, relieving stress. Another poll of 700 smokers

said that they were more relaxed when high.

The social aspect of weed is also important to its judgement. There's nothing like chilling with your people

and blazing up a Phatty. The social bonds formed when marijuana is used present a strong argument for

using marijuana. The evidence is clear: weed is good for you.

The American Medical Association's guidelines state that "the use of marijuana, in conjunction with the treatment of

cardiovascular disease, is recommended in the amount of 1-3 blunts daily". This proves that smoking weed has

definite medical benefits. In conclusion, marijuana has definite and confirmed medical justification.
