If people know more about alternative medicine and its benefits they might like it. Certain benefits of alternative medicine only appeal to some people. Alternative medicine has many misunderstood benefits such as natural medicine, healing through spirituality, and alternative physical treatments.
Natural medicine is an alternative medicine that has many benefits. Marijuana can be used as medicine and is naturally grown. Marijuana is often prescribed to cancer patients to reduce the pain induced by chemotherapy. Marijuana contains more of the required medical ingredients than pills usually prescribed to cancer patients. Aromatherapy can help people to relax and relive stress. Certain scents make the body produce effects such as relaxation. Instead of taking an Aspirin for a headache a certain smell can do the same thing but is cheaper. Some herbs have replaced drugs that we use. Herbs contain vitamins and other ingredients we usually get from pills. Some herbs are less likely to have side effects than some strong pills we take. Natural medicine is preferred by many, but alternative medicine that does not need to be taken orally also appeals to some people.
Spirituality is one way of getting the body to recover from a problem. Healing in spiritual ways has been done in religious practices. Putting holistic oils on the injured part of the body is believed to have positive effects although it is really a question of faith. Some people feel more comfortable using medicine that has been mentioned in scripture. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them (Mark 6:13). People believe that in some cases the mind can heal the body. Believing that the mind controls the body does healing the body through the mind. This requires you to have belief that you can take control of your body and it s functions through your mind. Yoga helps people relax and relive your tense body. Yoga is done through mediation, which requires relaxation to work. Meditation only requires time and relaxation, which appeals to people because it is cheap. Taking care of you by the spiritual ways is for people who want to try a different type of alternative or holistic medicine.
Physical treatment is another kind of alternative medicine. There is certain health clubs that help the body recover through physical treatment methods. These health clubs achieve this by various ways such as spas and massaging parts of the body. Health clubs seem to be an effective alternative medicine. Chiropractic medicine helps relieve body pains through massaging the affected area. Relieving tense muscles and back problems is usually done chiropractics. This method desires because it produces quick results. Acupuncture is applied to relieve pain during surgery and treat other illnesses. The penetrating needles and the human body s reaction to it crates positive effects. Acupuncture is not a drug so there is less hidden side effects. Some people prefer alternative medicine that requires physical treatment because it usually doesn t require the taking of harmful drugs.
