Does The President of the United States exert too much control on the lives of the citizens?

I think the president has exactly the right amount of control that he needs to have. We can choose where we want to live, who we want to be our leader, where we go, and what we do.

There are some matters which the president needs to have control over our lives in. Like, weapons, nuclear things, science, and Congress. Sometimes, decisions need to be made and if there is chaos, someone needs to make the right choice, to make the best choice for the people.

To further explain, during war, we cant just have anyone having access to bombs and deadly weapons! The president keeps thongs safe from the hands of “wrong-doers” and makes sure people are out of harms way.

You may say, people still got shot! Well, If Clinton made an anti gun law, so many people would be unsafe. People could be robbed, and you’d have to arm yourself with a kitchen knife, which wouldn’t be too safe. That would result in more serious injuries than gunshots.

I think President Clinton had just enough control to keep everyone safe, and keep most happy at the same time. If we have an idiot for the next president, I think I’ll move to China.
