There is a gigantic difference between news in a newspaper and news in television. First of all, news in newspaper comes up in a paper format that is why only we can read it. In contrast, we also hear and visualize news in television. We can read newspaper at any place and any time, even we can read it in the train, airplane, bus, boat and ship while we are traveling from one place to another. On the other hand, we have to watch news in television at certain place and certain time. News in newspaper is more descriptive but news in television is abstract. Newspaper always talks about the news, which occurred in an earlier time. But news in television is a combination of previous news and today s news. Television news provide us live traffic update so it is a great advantage for working people and as well as others. Though newspaper cannot provide us this facility but still they could provide us future traffic report like road closed, construction, bridge work and so on. In an emergency situation like tornado, cyclone, earthquake and other natural calamities, television news deliver us live news and give us direction about what to do, how to do and how to protect yourself from this horrible situation. On the opposite side, newspaper cannot supply us live caution about natural calamities but they can only tell us about future weather update. In newspaper we can read news about obituary, money market, daily horoscope, everyday entertainment from local to international and as well as others. On the other hand news in television do not tell us about obituary, daily horoscope, local entertainment, women section and job opportunities. Finally, the notable difference between news in newspaper and news in television is, newspaper is not for everybody because, it need education to get something out of it. On the other hand television is for everybody because it is audiovisual. In short, news in newspaper and news in television are as difference as north, east, west and south.
