Essay, Research Paper: My Motivations

I am interested in becoming a professional that works with children and/or families because I would like to learn more effective ways to guide and discipline my children in the future. Ideally I would like to help parents by providing them the knowledge I have acquired. I have worked in the education field for about four years and have seen what harm ignorant parenting can do to a young child. These issues are what motivate me to learn as much as possible. My interest originates from my past, from childhood guidance to the present. I am aware that my parents raised me the best they could with the information available to them, however, it is important to me that I educate myself so that my children and other children receive the best education and guidance possible. I am determined to continue my education so that I can help others as well. I believe that if we (the public) can educated or youth and parents then the quality of life will steadily increase without education the quality of life and structure of family will become less and less solid. My assumptions about the quality of life will greatly influence my work with children and/or families by motivating me to strive for better communication skills between spouses and parents and children.
