Essay, Research Paper: School Violence

Every day a child is hurt purposely, or accidentally by another classmate. There are many things that cause people to take violence out on other people. It could possibly be parenting, bullies, television, and even video games.
People who are brought up around a massive amount of violence are more likely to later take violence out on other people. Some people feel as though they must prove their selves to the world by proving "toughness", or strength by hurting other people, or making people feel week, and sometimes hopeless.
Also, if a parent brings up a child to think certain ways about certain people, the odds are that the child will believe in the parent, and be prejudice about people of certain races, creeds, and religions
Schools are filled with people from all different religions, race, and creeds. Having differences makes each person an individual, which sometimes causes problems. It is hard for a child to think otherwise about certain people then how they are told by there parents.
Bullies are people who decide to make other people feel unhappy, because they don't want to feel like a weaker person. Some feel as though they need to feel like a greater person, and that's what I think is one of the major causes of school violence; pride. Pride can make us feel envy within ourselves, and too much pride could easily be a cause of violence.
In conclusion, I feel that students act how they are told to act, and it is very hard to change that. I do not feel that things such as games should be blamed for the actions of other people. People react from other people's decisions, and then must make there own choices.
