"Well I certainly think that you have the patience and

the most experience out of all the others, so I've decided

to gove you the job. Oh and I forgot to tell you about my

dog, Tess, at the interview."

"That isn't much of a problem, most of my other previous

employees had dogs." she replied merrily.

"Good, so when would you like to start?"

"As soon as possible!"

"How about today? You can bring all your things over

tonight."

And the deed was done, Antony Richards had just employed

a new carer that he would never forget.

The first day of Mary Mallores' job was fine, she got to

know Tess the german shephard really well. However Tess

never seemed very keen about playing with Mary unless Antony

ordered her to. Apart from that everything was fine,

especially her room; it had a great view of the lake and

fields behind the house.

"Come on Tess, come girl, what's wrong? Don't you want

to play with Mary?" asked Antony, Tess had never acted like

this to anyone before.

"Come on girl, don't you like me anymore?" cooed Mary

gently, but Tess wasn't having any of this and growled in

return.

"Must be something to do with the full moon tonight!"

joked Antony.

The next morning Antony Richards was found dead and

covered with dog-like bites and his liver half missing. At

once Tess was put down for the brutal murder.

Mary Mallores was soon hired by another person; this time

an OAP who's daughter owned a great dane. About a month

later the newpaper headlines read:
