1.) When the president Arbenz gave away the land of the fruit company to the people of Guatemala, it was said to be a communist action. And since Guatemala is a part of the United States, they would have no part of Communism in their land.

2.) The Press reported completely different from what really happened. The press reported it the American people as a complete Communist action, and that Arbenz was trying to turn Guatemala Communists. The press reported it in a propaganda way.

3.) If Dean Acheson were to support the people of China, or offer them something that communism could not, then that would have made the people support him. But by supporting the other side of the battle is like saying that you are against the people which is not what it should be like.

4.) The US supported Chiang because he stood for democracy, and was against communism. They wanted to keep communism out of China, because they wanted to keep trade with China, and if China turned communist, then the US would not be able to trade with them.

5.) The US got involved with Iran, because they did not want the USSR to get a hold of them. The Middle East would be a very strategic place for the US.

6.) The hatred of the US was so high in the 1970's because the US was in everyone's business. They were getting involved in all the wars, all the meetings, everything they could get involved in, they would get involved with. They would not let people fight their own battles.

7.) To prevent a communist revolution in Cuba, the US could have supported Castro and the Cuban people. They should have done that instead of trying to drug or murder Castro. They should not have tried to start their own revolution in Cuba.

8.) I believe that all these cases are very similar, the US got involved with foreign affairs that they should not have gotten into. The Us is always backing the Capitalist side, which is usually the side that is not backed by the people.

9.) America's involvement in Korea is very similar to their involvement in China, except for that they made same ground with it, they did not loose. They wanted to keep another trade port open for them to use.

10.) General MacArthur's strategy was very hands on and aggressive. He went right after the Communists, and would go full steam. He got involved unlike the others who would send money and weapons. MacArthur
