Cloning is it a good idea or a bad idea? That is the question on most peoples minds, will it help society or make it worse then it already is, or will it be going against everything right in this world. No one knows the answers to these questions but everyone has an opinion, and many people voice their opinions about this very topic. Whether or not it is right it will always be debated and this is what this whole paper is about.
Imagine for a moment that your son or daughter needs a bone marrow transplant and no one can provide a match, or maybe your mother loses her arm in a horrible wheel chair accident and needs a new limb, or maybe your name is Juli and your perfect and you want to clone yourself to make the world a better place for the people of tomorrow. These reasons alone are good enough reasons to me to clone people. People should have the choice to do what they want to their bodies even if that means piercing, it or in this case cloning it. This could really help the world out, people would be naturally be happier. We could probably save many lives by finding new cures for disease and we could live clones as crash test dummies. Companies could also test their products on clones and then kill them that would save animals lives so that would also be a good thing.
There are also bad things to do with clones. Like saying our 2 year old daughter died in a car crash; we saved a lock of her hair in a baby book. Can you clone her? Now that is a stupid reason to clone someone if they died then they are supposed to be dead. If you bring someone back to life that is going against gods will. Or saying my husband had cancer and is now sterile can you help us? that is also one of the dumbest reasons to clone someone, people that are sterile should stay sterile. There are plenty of orphanages out there that have lots of extra kids lying around. But the stupidest reason to clone has to be to clone babies for gay and lesbian couples. This goes beyond horrible, it says in the bible that same sex tendencies are not allowed and if we permit making them babies, well that s just horrible.
In conclusion I believe that cloning can be a good thing in some cases and can be a bad thing in other cases. People shouldn t mess with nature unless it is absolutely necessary or if the are really in dire need. God made the things the way he did for a reason and that reason I am not sure of whether it was so that we could learn and progress to become more than him and learn how to cheat death. Or if he wanted us to pitiful and worthless and always need his help. This will always be the question to ask and we will never know the answer. But whether you like the idea of cloning or don t like the idea it is here to stay and no one or anything can take that away.
