Being accepted into College would open up a lot of opportunities for my future. Ever since I was a child, I have been in awe about how computers operate. At the age of fifteen, I got a summer job at Fallon Clinic, doing computer repair and computer networking. Later I proceeded to build a computer out of spare parts, and from then on I have wanted to be a computer engineer.
I have always loved computers. They have the ability to solve the most difficult math problems in a second. This is what has amazed me about them, I have always wanted to know why and how they work. Computers have helped people for the past fifty years they have improved lives, and even prolonged lives. If I am accepted to Worcester State, I will have the opportunity to complete my dream and help others and improve their lives and mine as well.
Although my last three years high school have had there ups and downs, I still think that I have what it takes to become a student at Worcester State, my behavior is excellent, my grades have improved dramatically since ninth grade with the exception of chemistry. My strong points are in math, history, and sciences. I also play in Wind Ensemble this has helped me with my school work because it has taught composure and also has helped how to memorize things. For instance if I am studying for a test and I need to memorize vocabulary I will look at the word and sing a song to it, and if I can remember notes on a piece of music that make a song I can memorize the vocabulary. This had helped in the past two years, to make my tests of better quality. Before then I think that I was like everyone else I did not think that my grades would matter as much as they do right now. Now that I realize this I have tried and Have partly succeed in bring my grade point average up. Even though I have messed up in the past I hope that you will see past that, and look to the future of what I want to become, and my determination to become that, and I know I can do this at
