Censoriship is a way of life, we need to stop this and live free.
Outline the arguments on censorship presented by various groups.
The two groups on censorship are those that are for it and those that are against it.
Those who support censorship believe that Canadians and especially young people need to be protected from all sexual matters, scenes of violence and foul language. Feminist groups that are for censorship disagree with all forms of material that exploit women and children sexually.
Groups who oppose censorship believe that a large part of Canadian society needs to be guaranteed a freedom of choice and expression.
Almost all groups for and against believe that children should be protected from materials that would harm them.

Edwards quote means that they can't legislate out morals, and what we believe in. I like this quote because it leaves censorship to a personal responsibility.

Rev Kenneth Campbell wants censorship to be left to the parents. I like this because I think that the parents of a child should be responsible for what a kid does. I don't think this would work because all parents would want different levels of censorship, so it would make it hard to set standards.
I agree most with the first quote. I also think that forcing moral behaviour on a person is immoral. Moral behaviour is something we learn from our parents and peers. Its not really something you learn from school or television.

think that censorship is a way of life for everyone. From the day we are born our parents try to teach us morals and how to behave. You can't swear in school, you can't fight someone you don't like. Even in the work place we have censorship.
I work in a restaurant and because on occasion I am with customers I cannot wear my shirt that says "Hello my name is Satan." I can't wear this shirt at school either because some people may find it offensive. Even
at the movie store some movies are restricted so not just anyone can rent them. I believe that in the future censorship will draw even more controversy and have even more effect on my life.
Censorship is everywhere. My stance on censorship is that it should only exist to protect children. Parents should be the censorship board. There's censorship on the internet at the library which is a good decision because that is a public place where people can
go to use the services for anything from school work to recreation. I believe that since there are young kids at the library that we should censor what people do and look at on the computers because if an older man is looking at kiddie porn on the computer
beside a 10 year old girl, those are things the girl shouldn't see. However I think that public internet and private internet and far different, because if someone wants to look at porn sites they should be aloud they don't harm anyone by doing it if there at home.
