My name is. I have moved several times and I have seen a lot of the world. I have several goals for my future , my top three though are as follows; I plan to go to college to attain a degree in law , I wish to marry and have children , and I want to be able to give my children every opportunity they deserve. My first topic is drugs. The ways this could affect my goals are; I would be spending hundreds of dollars on my addiction, and that would kill my finances for college. They would also have me out all the time, so studying is out of the question. My future marriage would also be impossible along with any opportunities for my children. I would probably serve jail sentences and have fines. The second topic is Alcohol. Just like the drugs, I would be drunk a lot. College would be near impossible to complete as studying would never happen under those circumstances. I would be blacked out and forget everything I was trying to learn. My assignments wouldn't be turned in and other important things. Also most physical abuse cases involve some kind of addiction, so family life is out of the question.
























The third topic would be tobacco. Tobacco would waste away my funds for college. It would also put me at great risk for many diseases like emphysema or many cancers. People die in large numbers from tobacco use. So, if I was to have a family I would burden them greatly if I had a fatal or near fatal experience. Smoking also endangers others because of second hand smoke. In conclusion, once again my name is and my goals are to major in Law, marry and have children, and to give my children all the opportunities they deserve. This unit is very, very important because it teaches us just how UN-cool drugs, alcohol, and tobacco really are.
