What's on Television!
There are not many television commercials that can be considered great. Television is a place where everyone enjoys sitting in front of to take the pressures of life. Sitting down and watching shows are enjoyed by most because it provides them with no worries. The only problem than is the commercials; they just seem to get in the way. There are many commercials that are good, that are bad and that having informational values.
Good commercials are the ones that you feel have attracted your attention to what the commercial is suggesting. The commercials that someone might find good are the ones that catch s your eye, the music that is played in the background travels through your head and you can always remember that commercial days after. One good commercial that seems to be always remembered is the bud beer commercial with the frogs in the pond sounding out the word B-U-D. The way that the company set this commercial up makes you really enjoy what you are watching. The frogs portrayed the theme and product they were trying to get you to buy.
Not all commercials are good; most seem to be bad or just plain boring. The point that the company is trying to get out just is not working. You are most likely to walk way are change the channel. Commercials that are bad normally do not catch your eye and the picture is not clear to what they are trying to sell you. Here is an example; it is supposed to be a commercial trying to sell their product of perfume. But all you see are two people kissing in the sand with the water splashing along side them on a beach. This commercial seems to be trying to encourage kissing in the sand rather than trying to get people to buy perfume. With this type of commercial you can see that this is a bad form of advertising a product.
Some commercials, on the other hand, can be very informative. Children or young teens that watch these types of commercials may feel scared and frightened that something might happen to them. Informational commercials provide you with the awareness of what some products could be doing to your body or mind. For instance, the commercials about drugs and alcohol for children and teens are telling you about the complications that these substances can case. They suggest to people watching that they will be able to keep control of what they are doing without falling apart or getting hurt. Informational commercials are good for getting people aware of what is going on.
As television continues; so do the commercials. People's taste for what they like will be different from now and into the future. But almost everyone agrees that there are some commercials better than others are.
