Both of these individuals risk putting thewoman through painful and potentially fatal tortures just in an attemptto abort a child. Each year many women die worldwide from failedabortion attempts. Because of anti-abortion legislation women avoidgoing to the hospital, often until it is too late, to avoid prosecutionfrom police. In the cases of rape and incest the very idea of beingforced to have the child of the woman's abuser is repulsive. Abortion on demand should be legal for many reasons.

There arealso cases when a woman's health is put in jeopardy by having a child atall, forcing such a woman to bring a child to term, would be no lessthan attempted murder. If a woman is forced to give birth to a child shedoes not want, if left in that woman's custody, the child couldpotentially face hatred and resentment from the mother for the rest ofit's life. In countries all over the world, children are found dead andabandoned in places as degrading as garbage dumps. The only effectivemethod of preventing unwanted births is abstinence, and this is just nota realistic objective. There is no 100% effective form of birth control,and even men and women using birth control have unwanted pregnancies.Some women for financial, occupational, social, and maturity reasons,see pregnancy as cessation of their lives. There are no accuratestatistics on how many women attempt or succeed in committing suicideeach year rather than live with their pregnancies. Women will continueto have abortions with or without government legislation, but withlegislation, the conditions under which they have their abortions can be sanctioned and observed

CHILD HEALTH.The unwanted child also suffers. Most of the time the mother of the unwanted child is very young and inexperienced or too poor to take care of the child. The child is usually malnourished, has no medical care, and gets very little attention or love. The foster care system isn't any better. Only a small percentage of the children are adopted by suitable parents. But the rest remain in the foster care system, where there is little or no personal care. In both cases, the child has a poor education because of the lack of attention and discipline. He grows up to be unproductive individual or a menace to society. Many get involved in drugs and crimes. These individuals are also very violent, lacking morality due small amount of care they received themselves. In the long run, not only does the child suffer but also society, who has to tolerate his violent behavior and crimes.

It is a woman's right to choose what she does with her body, and it should not be altered or influenced by anyone else. many people believe abortion is a moral issue, but it is also a constitutional issue. . . Regardless of the fact of morals, a woman has the right to privacy and choice to abort her fetus. The people that hold a "pro-life" view argue that a woman who has an abortion is killing a child. The "pro-choice" perspective holds this is not the case. A fetus is not yet a baby. It does not posses the criteria derived from our understanding of living human beings.A woman's body is hers and hers alone. Nobody has the right to make her do something that she does not want to. Abortion deals with one's private life and should have nothing to do with the government. However, abortion should not be used as a means of birth control, but if a fetus will be unwanted, it is better to be aborted than to be abused or neglected.

In short, abortion allows a woman to retain her constitutional rights,

it relieves a would be suffering child out of his distress and it

establishes a safer and more peaceful society. On these grounds, abortion

should be kept legal, and even encouraged to specific individuals, for

benefits to all of us. An abortion can be seen as putting the child out of misery while he doesn't have the ability to reason or fear..
