How to spot fake foreign sites

A legitimate American site will never do any of the following:

• Brag about or present fake non-existent awards or distinctions such as "Officially Recognized By Yahoo!", "Malcolm Award","Quality Award","The World's Finest/Best Custom Writing Service". There are no officially recognized awards in this industry
• Charge less than $13 per page for any turnaround. American writers (US graduate students) charge a minimum of $8 per page so how do you think those sites are staying afloat?
• Submit fake press-releases, articles, or other spam related materials to a myriad of Internet sites for the purposes of self-promotion. So if you come across a site bragging about being featured in some on-line newspaper, be extremely cautious and check the validity of that information. Most of the time it is just cheap advertising
• Try too hard to convince visitors of their pseudo-"American" origin. For example, lots of Pakistani site owners set up an LLC (Limited Liability Company) in the US (costs up to $1000 for foreigners) and then get security certificates from Comodo or post a "PayPal Verified" logo to convince visitors of their "legitimacy". Thereafter, they just go on with their routine business selling plagiarized papers and ripping off even more people
• Post fake press-releases, articles, or other spam related materials to a myriad of Internet sites for the purposes of self-promotion
• Feature text content ridden with grammar/spelling/sentence structure errors and run-on sentences common to foreigners
• Use Western Union to receive payments for services. If you have sent them money you will never get it back in case you want to. Paypal is very very reluctant to issue refunds on money transfers and thus is often abused by many fraudulent Custom Writing sites. 2CheckOut.com is the most liberal company that will always issue full refunds to unsatisfied buyers
• Host fabricated client testimonials, reviews, photos, references, etc.
• Lie about the number of writers employed (some claim to have over 500 writers connected to "their network" and do not even have a network in the first place). After years of hard work we have managed to expand our employee base to slightly over 80 people. So if you see some other site claim to have more, be cautious and always ask for proof
• Advertise bogus phone support for North America and the U.K. If you dial any of their numbers, you will be either prompted to leave a message or will have your call picked up by some foreigner outside of the US who won't really be there to take your order guidelines but simply to make it look like a legit operation. We explicitly state that we do not offer phone support for order related inquiries and explain why we don't do that. We do have a phone number that will connect you directly with our billing department (North America, the U.K. & Northern Ireland and International). Nevertheless, our experience shows that accepting paper instructions and order related inquiries by phone is truly inefficient and time consuming for both our clients and us. Submitting an electronic order form via our site creates an electronic record that you, the client, will later be able to use as a receipt and simplifies our back-office operations

What If I Have Already Ordered From A Suspicious Site

Well, it is not the end of the world, however, things may get quite complicated, if the paper happens to be plagiarized and you use it to consequently get caught and be accused of plagiarism by your institution.
